The Diamondbacks and the Rays-Tales of Tails of Two Cities

The Arizona Diamondbacks began March 31, 1998. The fist pitch was thrown at 8:31pm.  This put the Midheaven(MC) near the top pf the graphic chart and the Moon by progression started parallels with the natal and progressed MC in 1999.  The D'Backs thru free agent signings put a team on the field in its second year that won 100 games and was in the playoffs. In 2001 the contact with the progressed Moon and MC paralleled exactly during the fall of 2001 when the D'Backs defeated the Yankees in the World Series. Notice that when the progressed Moon paralleled Pluto in 2010, there was a major restructuring of the team with a new GM and field manager. Scorpio is the rising sign which is associated the breaking down and rebuilding so this team should be able to rise from the ashes easier than many.

 
The Tampa Bay Devil Rays also played their first game on the same day March 31, 1998.  The difference is the ascendant or the rising sign on the eastern horizon point at the birth of a person, and yes, even a business or team. Tampa Bay started out with the sign Virgo as their ascendant. One of the Virgo traits that can surface negatively is a lack of self esteem and being overly self-critical. If you have followed the ownership moves of the Devil Rays since their inception, then you know what a mess they were until the year they changed their name by dropping the Devil...probably into Tampa Bay itself. Interesting that the year they changed their name they won their division and the American League pennant!  The bottom line as they got a new chart and all the different vibrations that go along with it. (It's amazing what you can do when you chase the"Devil" out of your world!)

The Rays' new chart has the Moon parallel Jupiter from the beginning. Interesting that this team made it to the World Series in the first year with this chart. They have remained competitive ever since. The reason for this feature on the newest MLB teams is to illustrate the power of a nickname and how the chart for the first official use of that name creates a vibration unique to that entity.

How to read the charts: The transiting planets and nodes are located on the left and once in the graph body while the natal placements can be viewed on the right. The natal declination points are represented by dotted lines, the transits by solid lines. The moon makes a complete cycle and a little over each month. It starts off the month being out-of-bounds in the south and then moves to out-of bounds the 13th-19th in the north and then back to OB the 26th. Out-of-bounds means when the Moon or other planet exceeds 23 degrees 26 minutes in the north or south.
