                                   NFL Predictions 2011

AFC

EAST:  This division may be the most competitive in the AFC when we look back over the year at season's end. The Patriots and Jets have been getting most of the headlines but the Dolphins and Bills have a lot of progressed and transiting aspects that can translate into some wins as well. New England and the NY Jets will battle for the lead but don't be surprised in Miami and Buffalo are near .500 or better!

North:  The Steelers have a progressed ascendant parallel the natal north node. Translation: Things should go well for the team as a whole and get them back in the playoffs. Cincinnati and Cleveland should be improved and the Ravens look strong on paper but the connecting energies aren't obvious at least on the declination front.

South:  Could this be the year the Colts are turned out to pasture? Maybe, but this division could wind up as the one that no one wants to win. If Peyton is not 100% that could leave an opening for the Texans or the Titans. Three of the teams could be close in number of wins with the Jaguars on the outside looking in.

West: As dysfunctional as they have been, somehow the Raiders could steel this division. The Chiefs look strong. They have the Progressed Moon parallel with the north node which often coincides with a championship year. The Chiefs look good and San Diego has enough talent to make a run. The Broncos may be more dysfunctional than the Silver and Black.

Playoff Teams: New England, New York Jets, Pittsburgh, Houston, Oakland and Kansas City.

AFC Championship: Pittsburgh over Oakland.

NFC

East: The Eagles have been getting the hype as a playoff/championship team but don't forget about the Cowboys. The Eagles don't have any progressed declination contacts from the Moon or any other point. The transiting north node(extremely positive most of the time) will parallel the ascendant November and December which may get them into the playoffs. Wouldn't it be ironic if they didn't make the postseason! There are some aspects that may boost the fortunes of the Redskins while the Giants may be big in name only this season.

North:  The one team in the entire NFC that has the clearest progressed Moon hit on the north node which often happens in a playoff or Super Bowl year is....The Detroit Lions. Because of that I will pick the cats to win this division after a heated battle with the Packers. Minnesota and Chicago may be below .500.

South:  The Buccaneers have the most interesting aspects of the teams in this division and that could translate into a first-place finish with plenty of competition from the Saints and Falcons. The Panthers will have to wait.

West: A two-team battle with the Rams and Cardinals for first while the 49ers adapt to new schemes and the Seahawks to new quarterbacks. The Cards look like they'll do well tghe last six weeks of the season that could vault them into first.

Playoff Teams: Philadelphia, Dallas, Detroit, Green Bay, Tampa Bay, Arizona

NFC Championship: Philadelphia Detroit

Super Bowl: Pittsburgh over Detroit

Detroit Lions  Sept 23, 1934 1:00pm Detroit, Michigan

The Lions have the progressed Moon hit on the progressed north node(solid line). Next year it parallels the natal position. Two good years coming up!

Indianapolis Colts 1st gm: Sep 27, 1953 Baltimore, Md

The Colts have the progressed Moon forming a parallel with the progressed south lunar node about the first of the year. I have noticed that lunar hits on the SN sometimes are similar to the north node hits. The Moon now is headed for Uranus, Pluto and Jupiter, quite a combination. It's definitely an "electric" time for Peyton Manning, Tony Dungee and the rest of the Colts following, but is it enough for a Super Bowl win? Often the winning teams have the moon at an extreme and the Colts are close to the northern extreme.

Chicago Bears 1st gm: Oct 1, 1922  1pm CDT Chicago

Da Bears had a progressed lunar parallel with progressed Saturn at the beginning of the season. Normally this parallel coincides with a "stopping" or restriction however after closer analysis(check the natal declinations on the right of the screen) and you will notice that progressed Saturn is exactly parallel the MC which may well be the strongest positive //one can find with Saturn. That energy is carried with the lunar motion toward the natal Sun declination in March.  (Remember all natal declinations are noted on the right of the graphic chart connected to a dotted line across the page going left. The progressed placements are listed on the left of the page and have solid lines).

I don't usually need to go to the transiting declinations but the graph below may be the most revealing in helping us pick a winner. This is the Bears' transiting declination chart for the football season. Notice the transiting lunar north node is heading for a parallel with the natal MC declination. This reinforces another trend you'll see in Chicago's coach, Lovie Smith. There's also a boost from transiting Mars as it is near parallel to the natal ascendant.

The transit graphic declination chart for the Colts has as it's most exact parallel is Uranus  to natal Neptune which appears to be exact for the first few days in February. It will be interesting to watch the game to see if their might be a major mental error that leads to a Bear victory. It could manifest in a faulty game plan or perhaps an extremely efficient game plan for the opponent that leaves the Colts in a cloud.
