Michelle Wie October, 11, 1989 Honolulu Hawaii 12 noon projected time. The following is an interpretation based on declinations. Declinations is a study of the planets and major points in the zodiac, such as the rising sign or ascendant(ASC) and the midheaven(MC). The declinations are figured by the number of degrees and minutes north or south of the celestial equator. When two or more planets or points appear within a degree north of the CE or they are south CE, they are in parallel. For research and timing I look for parallels within 30 minutes or one half degree. If a planet or point is in the same degree but in the north and in the south, that is a contra-parallel. Astrologers in the past have equated the parallels with conjunctions which are found in the longitudinal or round charts, and the contra-parallels as oppositions. I see the parallels and contra parallels (CP) a little differently. I am in the process of defining what I see as the characteristics and will share as time goes on. One thing I am seeing more and more in the case of CPs is that they frequently show up by transit to the natal chart in players who win MVP awards in the baseball All Star game and the Super Bowl. I'm beginning to see the CPs as the completion of an electromagnetic circuit of sorts. Look at the northern planet as the positive pole and the southern planet or point as the negative pole. When the two points are connected by two, there is a completed electrical circuit. It's like magic when you watch these players in their game. Miguel Tejada, shortstop of the Baltimore Orioles won the MVP this past year in the MLB All Star game. He was outstanding in the field as well as at the plate. In future Super Bowls and All Star games I will attempt to predict the MVP. Michelle Wie will have her first full year wearing the professional label. Her first venture into pro-dom was a little embarrassing as she was disqualified for a ball drop from an unplayable lie in bush country. 2006 will find the teenage phenom picking and choosing her tournaments around schooling, but the summer months of June and July could bring her first taste of victory, if she is still looking for that first win. Our subject astrologically has the progressed Moon forming a parallel with the Sun and then doing the same with the Moon's North Node. Tiger had this same aspect in 2000.and he won three of four majors. Although winning that many majors may not be in a 16 year-old's reach, let's keep in mind that this young lady plays well beyond her years. The transiting planet Jupiter forms a magical parallel with the lunar North Node in June and July which makes this whole year laden with potential for winning and winning often within a nine or 10 week span. What Michelle has to do is prepare herself off of the golf course. She needs to remain centered and continue to embrace her family's values and remember golf is a game that requires much mental discipline to go with her already proven physical capabilities. For Michelle Wie in 2006, she might as well shoot for the stars because the sky's the limit. // = parallel # = contra-parallel How to read the charts: The transiting planets and nodes are located on the left and once in the graph body while the natal placements can be viewed on the right. The natal declination points are represented by dotted lines, the transits by solid lines. Out-of-bounds means when the Moon or other planet exceeds 23 degrees 26 minutes in the north or south. Michelle Wie had Venus go out-of-bounds in the south and it remain so until she reaches the age of 54. When a planet is OB, it's almost like a wild card situation. If a person is experiencing the event, they can go above and beyond the normal. There can be excesses and much abundance. If the person understands the vibrations, they can better harness the energies for the good of all.
